Following extensive public consultation, the area of land next to Thornwell Primary School is being developed in partnership with Chepstow Town Council and Monmouthshire County Council.
The site will be transformed into a community growing space, incorporating individual growing plots alongside a communal garden for residents to enjoy and use together.
Over the coming months, you may notice works taking place in and around the site as preparations get underway. This will include the demolition of the caretaker’s house and clearance of the site to make way for the new growing spaces.
This exciting project has been made possible through funding from the UK and Welsh Governments, helping to create a valuable community resource for local residents.
Thank you for your support as we work to bring this community space to life. Please check this page for news and updates.
